Although the Xbox 360 plays host to one of the largest and more impressive RPG's of recent years, other entries in the genre are almost nil. With the release of Enchanted Arms, Ubisoft will be hoping that FromSoftware can work it's magic once again and provide thirsty 360 owners with a viable RPG option to prevent their attention from venturing onto other formats.Enchanted Arms is another exclusive to the Xbox 360 and displays all the graphical sweetness that FromSoftware built into it's Otogi series. The game features cinematic-quality HD graphics and over a hundred fully animated and highly detailed characters. You take the role of Atsuma, an Enchanter-in-training, and will transform from a nave student to the most powerful saviour in a war 1,000 years in the making. As the story develops, players face increasingly difficult challenges and learn to master Atsumas special fighting and magical abilities.Yet we need more than just another visually wonderful world of fantasy and magic. Enchanted Arms promises a deep storyline with over 50 hours of epic gameplay. A fast-action battle system, which promises more than just the static turn based "after you, no you first"dynamic. A twist comes from the inclusion of over 75 special creatures (hidden and unlockable) that you can control and use in battle as part of your team. Each creature is as unique visually as they are in terms of special abilities. And if the offline game has run it's course, Enchanted Arms will feature a head-to-head online mode for those wanting to take their monsters online.Enchanted Arms is the first classic Japanese RPG game created specifically for Xbox 360, said Jay Cohen, vice president of publishing at Ubisoft.
