Bigger is better certainly should be used to describe Nathan Hales next adventure. Little more is really known about the campaign, and perhaps this is for the best, that way we can explore the world at a more leisurely pace, discovering new environments and watching the plot unfold. After all, so much about our protagonist was left unanswered at the end of the first Resistance.Not content with just offering a better single player, multi-player is getting an upgrade as well. Up to eight players can join forces in co-op mode in levels primarily designed for team based combat. On top of that you can just blow each other up if you so choose in staggering deathmatch modes which manage to hold up to sixty players. If the connection speeds manage to stay at a reasonable pace then Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3 certainly have some major competition. While weve been disappointed before when it comes to major Christmas releases, Resistance 2 is certainly shaping up to be one of the big hitters, but with so many titles released in the same period, will it get lost in the shuffle? We seriously doubt it.
