Decided to do it on Assassins Creed 2 And just wondered if anyone had any comments or feedback on it

Assassins Creed 2 Review.

Assassins creed was one of the most anticipated games of 2007. It was a solid video game but lacked real depth and was severely criticized for its repetition in game play and basically being a bit boring. Assassins creed 2 has set out to rectify the problems of the first and truly delivers.

The Sequel is basically an expanded version of the first game, while going to great lengths to rectify many of the wrongs of the first. Ubisoft have really taken this back to the drawing board to improve the game vastly and building on every aspect that the series set out with.

Assassins Creed 2's main story follows a new leading man, Ezio Auditore Di Firenze on his quest for vengeance throughout 15Th century renaissance Italy. You will push to the limits his combat, stealth and free running skills in a variety of different missions. (They forgot "Variety" When they made the first!) Aside from the main storyline, there are plenty of side missions available if you need that bit of extra cash, plenty of rewards are available for just a few minutes work such as delivering a package for someone, or beating up cheating husbands. The money earned can be useful for purposes such as Upgrading weapons, more slots for injury curing medicines and perhaps some new dye for your threads to smarten up a bit! Or if you would like to earn your money a bit easier, there's always pick pocketing or there are plenty of treasure chests located throughout the city!

The signature free running is just as fluid, and sends Ezio jumping from building to building in seconds, the only thing that doesn't seem to have been given an overhaul is the combat system, its more or less the same, the controls still feel rather complicated to be the actions of a masterful and skilled killer. The graphics are slightly improved on the first game, but are still lacking, for example when your walking along some details appear in front of you as you walk, which can be annoying, also looking at environments from a distance can produce Low resolution textures, which looks very poor.

The link to Desmond is a lot less intrusive this time around, with you only playing as him around about 3 or 4 times, allowing you to get to know the new main Character Ezio, who feels so much more than just a Block with a voice! (Altair) but more a like able young man on his way through adulthood.

If you are worried about the repetitive game play as with the first, then i suggest you stop now. Ubisoft truly have outdone themselves this time around. The controls are responsive and fluid, and the game delivers a remarkable storyline. You truly will feel like an Assassin.

Cheers

Sorry Mike, just spotted this post!

Far better than my first ever review, which was one of the early GS reviews. A launch title on the PS2 that is pretty cringing now. I can find it for a laugh sometime.

Good first attempt. You've summarised the story without spoiling anything and that its an improvement over the original, adding what makes it much better this time around. So its a good foundation to add a little more detail to and watch out for some of the capital letters here and there.

The main only rules we have are being honest and saying what you think. Should be in a third person perspective and reviews should be at least 700-800 words. Sometimes there is a little give and take depending on the game as you'll struggle to write that about a small downloadable game without spinning a yarn. I don't think we ever reviewed Creed 2, so if you want to work on it some more we can see about sticking it up here. And don't be like Meerman and give out 10's all the time!

Late reply is late.

It's a wee bit short - it's 468 words, and a review is normally 700-1000 words. (But don't do what I did for my Devil Summoner review (not on Gamestyle) and write long and rambling.) Also beware of simply listing what's in the game; expand on what's good and what isn't.
