Hey Facebook fans!

You can now 'Become a Fan of Gamestyle' on Facebook.

Show all your friends that you like the site and get little tidbits of news and such in your feed of friends. Or, if you don't want us to invade your updates, Become a Fan and then hide us from your stream. Either way, Become a Fan.

Once you have, suggest Gamestyle to your friends through the medium of Facebook Spam.

Okay, so, don't spam your friends... but just 'inform' those that are actually into videogames. Seriously! If you have a friend who is in bed with videogames, or even just a casual gamer, get them into Gamestyle. Tell them to Become a Fan!

We currently have 59 fans and nobody has unsubscribed... that's got to be a sign of good things. Please help us surpass 100 fans - and then we'll see if we can convince those people to use the forums!

Haha, thanks. It's not like we were totally absent from Facebook though - we had a Facebook Group going for ages - but they're not as versitile as pages and so we've since closed it and moved it across to a page.

Tip? When GS posts a link to sometihng, say with an ow.ly address, I click share, and the GS reference is lost - is there a better way to get our name out with posted links?

Unfortunately, that's how Facebook works. Twitter's new retweet feature keeps the original source in tact whereas Facebook's share link just shares the content and not the Gamestlye Fan Page link / reference. Unfortunate.

Each update has a unique URL though - I'm not sure how to get to it... twitter shows it. So you could share this link, for example, and it'll keep the GS references in tact.
