Just watched that Jackson clip.  Bloody hell, something like that could kill someone relatively easily.........

I've seen patients who have had these injuries.  Makes me think twice about whether these sports are ethical, but then again they know what they are getting into.

I don't care how bad this may turn out to be, but I want to see this.

The Karate Kid (2010)


However, I do have one issue...why is it called Karate kid when this is clearly Kung Fu?  Note the Bong Sau etc (if there are any Wing Chun folk out there).

Well Karate is meant to mean the place where you go to learn Kung Fu doesn't it?

Wish they chose anyone but Will Smith's kid for the role, its kinda like watching that kid as Anakin in Star Wars

AFAIK - Karate originated from Okinawa (Mr. Miyagi was from there) but has its early roots in Kung fu.  But at the end of the day...whi knows for sure?

I would laugh, but they speak the truth.  Liked the use of the music from Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story though (which wasn't half bad if you forget about the whole demon fight thing...Jason Scott Lee was very convincing I think)......
