The Tentacle is Rising! Next week on Retro 101.
« on: 23 January 2009 at 03:44pm »

Once upon a time the land was filled with classic point and click adventure games. These days, very few companies see the genre as a worthwhile investment. Next week, point and click games will be filling our pages. The Tentacle will rise again people!

I was just talking to my brother about P&C games as he wanted me to put Scumm on his PSP.

I'm thinking about picking up A Vampyre Story as it's been getting some good reviews.

I loved Day of the Tentacle, but unfortunately never finished it. It was a dark day before GameFAQS.

If I remember I think I needed to do something involving a kite and George Washington (or one of the US Presidents).

Day of the Tentacle was awesome, my all time favourite point and click. Closely followed by Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge, which I was unable to finish due to the last Amiga disk being corrupt.
