Ah, afraid not. UK Only at the moment. Although, if you did win you could 'gift' your prize to another forum user.

Well, im still searching for work. Not great, but I cant just get a job Ill hate for the sake of it.

Anyway. Sods law, this. I've now got the possibility of two jobs to choose from if im successful in both of the interviews. The 1st is a local college, running their sharepoint site and providing IT support, and the guy even met with me for a coffee as he was so impressed with my CV (I tihnk the hentai drawings ojn page3 did it personally). From what hes said hed really like me to get the job and seems a top guy. Haven't had a interview confirmed yet.

Then there's this other job for a healthcare provider (AXA) in Tunbridge Wells, as a senior business controller, running sites and projects etc.

The moneys marginally better at the college, and I think that's the one I want to do, especially for long term prospects and hot college girls to ogle in the summer.

What would you do - if you were offered both jobs, but the ppp one was offered before you had the college interview? Id probably accept it, do the interview at the college and if I get that say I no longer require the ppp one. Toughie though, as that's unprofessional. Hmm..

Cheers all. Well chuffed about it, as its very similar to a job I used to have but uses a lot of the stuff I've learnt since. Itll just be nice to have a routine to the day again, been getting ever eager to get back to work.

Yeah big time. Just had my last signing as well. I hasten to add, not a tear was shed by me. Glad to see the back of that one!

After just over 2 years of uncertainty I have finally been given the date for my redundancy as June 30th.

Whilst the not having a job factor is going to be worrying, I'm not someone tied down with anything serious. I'm single and live at home, I have a managable monthly mobile phone tariff and an equally manageable credit card debt. I will still need to budget carefully but I'm due a nice sized pay-off and if I line up all my important payments for the next 12 months I'll still be sitting on enough to live comfortably even if not extravagantly. I'm even looking to open a proper savings account with actual money in it!

Obviously I'm not looking to be out of work too long but I am looking forward to having some real time off. All those little things that I never wanted to give over my weekends for (like redecorating my room) are now things I can devote my energy to. For the first few days I might even try to learn the guitar again! Although being made redundant is never a good thing, for my personal circumstances the timing is actually not too bad; middle of the summer, World Cup and a shedload of festivals I'm hoping to go to.
