We say when we comeplte a game, but not when we start one (at least not in its own thread) so ive created this, and if peeps dont mind, pinned it. (I know we have just bought, but you dont always buy them, sometimes its returning to an old game or borrowing one)

Just started Syphon Filter - PSP & Final Fantasy VII on a PS1 Emulator after I found my old copy, with its official guide to getting everything uber. Knights of the Round me do!

Thanks, I can use it.

Anyways, I haven't started anything lately, gaming wise. Last videogame I bought was Guitar Hero back in April.

CoD3, RS:Vegas, GoW, Guitar Hero 2 and Red Steel before christmas!

Doom on the 360. Interesting session last night where I managed to complete a level on Nightmare difficulty. It went something like this:

'Right, run!'
'Shoot guy, hit button, run more! Aggh, don't get shot!'
'Urgh, run quickly down bunker. ARRRGGHHH enemy. Run! Run quicker!'
'STOP SHOOTING ME!'
'DEMON!! ARGH!'
'THERE'S THE BUTTON!! ZOMG PUSH IT BEFORE YOU DIE. PUSH THE DAMN THING'
'...... phew'.

Thankfully I am reasonably good at the Ultra Violent mode, so completing the game in that should be a fun challenge rather than a 2-minute descent into gaming pain.

Just started the 'unfinished game' that is MotoGP'06 this week.  Long load times, tearing, serious framerate issues and plenty of other problems ahoy!

Thats bull$hit. I've played the game on a SDtv and HDtv (at varying resolutions and refresh rates) and even in different camera views... and you still get serious framerate and tearing problems. Some tracks/corners are horrific to watch.  It's terrible.

The only thing I haven't been able to test is playing the game over a VGA cable although I can't see that making a it any different.

I've just started BF2142 on the PC, although it's not really a game you can 'finish'.

I finally got around to peeling the shrinkwrap off Perfect Dark Zero and playing it.  Suffice to say, it will be traded in when Guitar Hero 2 comes out.

Legend of Spyro. It rocks! No farting around with flying saucers, space cows or that doofus Hunter the cheetah. Just old-school Spyro and Sparx with some awesome new moves.

Good thing I have indefatigable willpower, or I'd never get any uni work done.

And Mercury Meltdown for Press Start. I was a bit apprehensive because I found the first one so annoying, but this new one's a lot better.
