What a year 2011 has been for gamers. We've been blessed with many a top title over the last 12 months, so many in fact that we've not got round to playing them all! So here's the gamestyle teams list of games we'll be knuckling down to over the festival season.

Andrew
Assassin's Creed: Revelations - 2011 has been a huge year for great games, in particular the 4th Quarter which seen a number of contenders for game of the year. Unfortunately one game was going to be left behind but still on the must have list and for me it was AC: Revelations, so here is hoping it's in the sock on christmas morning.

Bradley
Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure - It has beaten Pokemon to the punch. Skylanders has tapped into our OCD nature for collecting. Not only that, it also has some excellent gameplay. It is one that is ideal for playing with the kids too, but also fun for gamers of any age.

Stuart
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Because I'm currently sharing a copy with my brother and there aren't enough hours in the day for two people to play it.

Drew
Rayman Origins - This is a triumphant return for the 2D platformer. Gorgeous animation and hugely satisfying gameplay abound in Michel Ancel's latest triumph. Here's hoping more developers remember the value of quirky and beautiful 2D graphics and gameplay.

Dan
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - Often criticised for sticking too closely to their formulae, Nintendo has taken fans by surprise this year, as Skyward Sword looks to have shaken up the Zelda template. Accurate motion-control swordplay, a vast world to explore and challenging foes to defeat; this is one epic adventure I'd love to pull out of my treasure chest this Christmas. Da-da-daa-daaaaaa!

Dave
Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - I admit, I very rarely get a chance to play games in recent times, but I'm determined to improve my kill ratio in the years best shooter over the festival period. Now if on;y we can do something about those flipping campers!

Jason
Fusion Genesis - I didn't manage many current releases in 2011, however the appeal and execution of Fusion Genesis is one of my most enduring memories of this year.

Matt
No new games, please! Reason: This year has been quite hectic on a personal level and I've not found time to play some of this year's top releases that already extend my games collection. I'm quite looking forward to the Christmas holidays, sitting down on my couch with some festive beers and playing my way through Mass Effect 2 - a game which I bought a number of months ago, yet have only managed 4 hours game-time to date.
